A 70-year-old man was saved this morning from drowning on the beach of the seventh comb of Platamona, in the Marina di Sorso. The man dived into the sea to cool off but immediately experienced difficulties and managed to return to shore with the help of other swimmers.
An ambulance from 118 arrived on site and provided assistance to the pensioner , and after stabilizing him, transported him to the emergency room of the Santissima Annunziata in Sassari for further tests.
