Rescue off the coast of Cagliari, 15 migrants brought to the Port Channel

They were aboard a small boat adrift off the coast of Cagliari: fifteen migrants, all Algerian men, were rescued by the Captaincy, put on the patrol boat and taken to the Port Channel. The operation ended in the early afternoon.
The report came from some boats that have noticed the small boat in difficulty. There were also phone calls from relatives of the migrants, apprehensive about what was happening.
The means of the Coast Guard of Cagliari reached the small boat and put the migrants on the patrol boat. Once transported to the Port Channel, the health and identification procedures were started, with the accompaniment in the reception center of Monastir.
