Two years requested for sexual violence , yesterday in the assize court in Sassari , by prosecutor Angelo Beccu against a 33-year-old from Alghero .

The man was reported by a 37-year-old woman in 2016 because, at the end of a high-alcohol night in the Catalan city spent with the man, she woke up without remembering anything . So much so that she feared that she had taken the so-called "rape drug" against her will and that she had been the victim of rape. Hypotheses, however, refuted, as reported by the public prosecutor, by the tests carried out on the alleged victim. Which, that night, Beccu continues, due to alcohol "was no longer in her senses", becoming the protagonist with the accused, who was also tipsy, in front of numerous witnesses, of hot effusions in a public place. An altered condition which, according to the prosecution, the 33-year-old took advantage of "to satisfy his cravings", characterized only by groping.

The prosecutor asked to recognize the mitigating circumstances for the man , and to include the crime in 609 bis paragraph 3, as a case of less seriousness in the field of sexual violence . The panel, chaired by judge Monia Adami, alongside Valentina Nuvoli and Paolo Bulla, arranged for the discussion of the defense lawyer Marco Salaris and the civil party lawyer Luigi Esposito for September.
