Flames in the night in the center of Serdiana, where the car of the mayor Maurizio Cuccu, 41, a lawyer, was targeted and destroyed
The episode took place in via Don Minzoni when it was just after 9pm. The Range Rover Evoque, parked near the mayor's home, was on fire.
“A neighbor warned me,” said Cuccu, elected in 2020 at the head of a civic cartel, understandably upset by what happened. "When you're mayor you touch unpleasant issues, but I have no suspicions."
The carabinieri and firefighters rushed to via Don Minzoni, who completed the shutdown. In the vicinity of the Evoque which went up in flames they would have found a "little devil".
