"People like us never give up." With this and other slogans, many citizens of Serramanna have reiterated their no to the passage of the water service, so far managed independently by the Municipality, in Abbanoa.

"The water is ours and cannot be touched", say the representatives of the "Serramanna contro Abbanoa" committee which has promoted a protest march .

The procession, opened by a large banner with the inscription “Serramanna against Abbanoa, moved on Saturday afternoon from the public lifting station of Sa Funtana, the symbolic place of the Serramanna aqueduct.

The protest comes in the days in which the administration led by the mayor Gabriele Littera has formalized the start of the procedure for the appeal to the TAR for the cancellation of the EGAS resolution which excluded Serramanna from the list of Sardinian municipalities in conditions to continue in the autonomous management of the water service.
