The partisan struggle, which started in 1943, the birth of democracy and the Constitution. These will be the topics at the center of the meeting with the students of the 5th classes of the "Mario Paglietti" Institute of Porto Torres entitled "Waiting for April 25th, so as not to forget" organized by the municipal administration, in collaboration with the National Association of Partisans, scheduled for Friday 19 April at 10.40 in the Aula Magna of the "Europaunited" scientific high school in via Bernini.

The Municipality promoted the initiative in view of the important anniversary of the 79th anniversary of the Liberation of Italy from Nazi-fascism to celebrate the value of the partisans of all fronts who contributed to the liberation of the country and to remember, together with girls and boys, the founding values of our Constitution, promulgated following the end of the Second World War and based on universal principles such as the repudiation of war as a form of resolution of disputes between nations, equal rights between men and women, the right to work, freedom of religious worship.

The conference will be opened by greetings from the social services councilor Simona Fois and the school director Daniele Taras. The introduction is entrusted to Rosanna Derudas, provincial president of the Anpi, who will then give space to the interventions of the mayor Massimo Mulas and Albertina Soliani, representative of the national presidency of the Anpi and president of the Alcide Cervi Institute, always in the front row in scientific research and in the cultural promotion of democratic struggles and the anti-fascist values at the basis of our Republic.
