The book "I Wanted to Be Engineer Carta - The Story of a Health Director" by Franco Meloni, former manager of the Brotzu Hospital, was presented in Cagliari, in the Giorgio Pisano Hall of L'Unione Sarda.

In the book, the author recounts his entire journey: from childhood to university life, to his positions at the highest levels in Sardinia's healthcare system. "Engineer Carta worked in the Sulcis mines in senior roles. Franco Meloni, originally from Carbonia, knew him well. The memory is still vivid."

The author spoke with Simona De Francisci, co-director of the Videolina news program, and Paolo Figus, former director of L'Unione Sarda.
