The Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating environmental inspections and an alleged illicit network of relations between officials, technicians, and companies that allegedly managed ARPAs practices, also concealing pollution risks. Twenty-six people are under investigation, including former governor Christian Solinas, MP and former Environment Councilor Gianni Lampis, and two mayors. The charges include various types of false ideology, corruption, and fraud.
