Quartucciu: walking around in the middle of the night with an axe, pincers and ten switchblades

The Carabinieri of the Selargius Station, supported by colleagues from the Radiomobile Unit of the Quartu Sant'Elena Company, have reported a 52-year-old unemployed man resident in Quartucciu on charges of illegally carrying weapons or objects capable of causing harm.

The check – as stated in a note from the Carabinieri – took place around 4 am along Via Maracalagonis.

The man intercepted by the military was found in possession of a veritable collection of dangerous tools suitable for burglary: ten switchblades of various sizes, six screwdrivers, pliers, and even an axe.

All the material was seized.
