The military of the Selargius Station arrested two people, a man and a woman, almost red-handed for the crime of aggravated theft in competition, both already known to the police and without a fixed abode.

They are a 46-year-old man from Cagliari and his partner, a 52-year-old woman, accused of stealing money and valuables from a B&B in Quartucciu, where they were guests.

Following the report of the theft, the Carabinieri identified and searched the two suspects, finding them in possession of the stolen goods, which were promptly returned to the rightful owners, including the owner of the B&B and other guests.

The two arrested were taken to the holding cells pending the summary hearing on Monday.
