Sport and cuisine: the solidarity days that yesterday saw over sixteen Sardinian chefs as protagonists together with the young guests of the structure return to the juvenile prison of Quartucciu .

After an initial moment of getting to know the boys and the cooks, they challenged each other in a 5-a-side football match in the external sports field . The winners were the smiles, culminating in conviviality during the rich and delicious buffet created thanks to the joint work between the chefs and the young inmates.

The meeting is part of the "Solidarity Days" program, organized thanks to the collaboration between the management of the penal institution for minors and the "Carlo Enrico Giulini" Foundation. Accompanying the chefs was the team from the Accademia del Buon Gusto headed by William Pitzalis .

«I thank the chefs who came but also those who were unable to be present, because I know that they were with us in their hearts. – added Pitzalis - The goal is to do good for the kids, we cooks have enormous potential: to involve people and this is a great gift».
