The agreement was reached between the Municipality of Quartu and the Italian Tobacconist Federation: from today citizens who need a personal certificate can go to the tobacconist's. 12 Quartesi businesses have decided to immediately join the project for the provision of the service, others will be added in the coming months, to build a municipal proximity network dedicated to citizens.

The simplification process desired by the municipal administration of Quartu continues, with the aim of meeting the Quartesi by providing more widespread and more punctual services. The decision to allow the printing of certificates also in tobacconists interested in joining the project looks in the direction of streamlining the queues at the counters and reducing the distances between citizens and the administrative machine. The innovative service was born with the collaboration of Novares, a company of the FIT group. There are 12 tobacconists in the area that will start on an experimental basis for the new project and are located in the various areas of the territory so that all the hamlets are covered. Furthermore, from November all the Tobacconists Associated to FIT will be able to join the project, with the possibility of becoming the largest municipal proximity network.

A very important novelty especially for the extra-urban areas: the citizens of Flumini and neighboring areas will therefore no longer be forced to move to the city center. The first certificate was printed in the tobacconist in via Leonardo da Vinci by the councilor of Flumini and the extra-urban Territories Tiziana Cogoni. "Sometimes it is not easy or easy for a citizen to go to the Town Hall to obtain a certificate and therefore, in collaboration with the Italian Tobacconists Federation, we have studied how to bring this registry service to the area and thus simplify people's lives. . Those who need a personal certificate can now go to the nearest tobacconist's to home, saving time - explained the representative of the Giunta Milia -. With this operation we are also going to enhance and support the activities of our territory which, by integrating with municipal services, have the possibility of becoming more and more points of reference for people, creating a widespread territorial network. The innovation of services to citizens is part of the Administration's program and this new project goes in this direction ”. The cost of the certificates issued by the tobacconist will be 2 euros including VAT.

The provincial president of the Italian Tobacconist Federation Matteo Boi is also enthusiastic: “We are really satisfied to be able to collaborate with the institutions so that our activities can be close to the citizens, facilitating them in their daily tasks and thus also carrying out a service function. Our category immediately responded well to this new project and soon other tobacconists will join it ".
