Discounts on the bill for virtuous Quartes who regularly pay the waste tax. Also this year the Municipality confirms the Tari rewards, and invests 475 thousand euros obtained from the administrative surplus available in the budget.
The reductions range from 12 percent applied automatically for citizens who have been regular since 2019, to 9 percent for virtuous citizens since 2020, up to 7 percent if 2021 is considered as the reference tax year. Furthermore, those who have joined - or want to join - to direct debit to pay the TARI in a single solution by September will be entitled to a further 3 percent reduction on the amount due. All benefits which - as underlined in the resolution - concern both domestic and commercial users.
«We repeat the award for the second consecutive year, with the intention of continuing in the years to come, compatibly with the resources available, to give impetus and continuity to the campaign we are conducting against tax evasion», explains deputy mayor Tore Sanna. «A policy designed to thank citizens who consciously contribute to the waste collection and disposal process, but also to underline how important that contribution is to increase the well-being of the entire community», continues the representative of the Milia Council. «Rewarding those who spontaneously and punctually fulfill the obligations of the law, in this specific case the Tari, also allows us to retain the loyalty of those citizens who over the years have neglected how important it is to pay».
