He kicked the window of a bar, stole "Scratch cards" and sparkling wine, then ran away. But the escape of a thirty-four year old did not last long, thanks to the intervention of the police.

The theft was carried out on Sunday night in a bookkeeping bar in via Monsignor Angioni in Quartu. However, a report immediately arrived at the Police Headquarters switchboard: the thief had just broken away and was heading towards the nearby Via Belgio.

The officers from the Quartu police station, with colleagues from via Amat, rushed to the area and managed to stop the thirty-four year old - known to the police - near the cemetery.

His theft was recorded by the cameras of the video surveillance system: in the images you can see him entering, taking 130 coupons from the counter, for a total value of 264 euros and the bottle of sparkling wine . “Loot” returned to the owners, while he is now under house arrest, accused of aggravated theft.
