Carabinieri officers conducted a drug raid at Matteotti Park in Quartu, resulting in the recovery of drugs, the arrest of a minor, and the reporting of an adult, both for drug dealing and possession. Two individuals were reported to the Cagliari Prefect. The raid had been brewing for several days in Quartu's main square, where suspected drug dealers had been reported. This unusual activity had come under the scrutiny of the Carabinieri, who conducted hours of surveillance.

Yesterday, a meeting took place at the Quartu barracks, with several Carabinieri patrols from the Quartu Mobile Radio Operations Unit, Flumini Station, and Sinnai Station. Coordinated by Lieutenant Vittorio Piras, the officers again deployed, emerging at the opportune moment : a seventeen-year-old was stopped, arrested, and taken to the Quartucciu juvenile detention center. A twenty-five-year-old was reported at large, both for drug possession and dealing.

The Carabinieri searched several homes and recovered hashish, marijuana, scales, and packaging materials . Investigations are ongoing to determine the origin of the drugs and any possible accomplices of the suspect.
