Anti-drug operation by the Carabinieri of the permanent post of Flumini on the Quartu coast. The military arrested a 37-year-old for possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing. During a report prepared by Major Michele Cerri, commander of the Quartu Company, they noticed an unusual coming and going in the pine forest of Is Canaleddus with several young people moving from the beach to the same pine forest , quickly discovering that the attraction was the sale of cocaine.

During a check, they found the 37-year-old in possession of almost 20 grams of cocaine already divided into doses. A 38-year-old from San Giovanni Suergiu was also present nearby, who, upon seeing the police, attempted to disperse a dose of cocaine. The 37-year-old was arrested and later validated by the judge. The 38-year-old was reported to the prefect.
The two men were immediately stopped, and the subsequent search of the 37-year-old's vehicle and home led to the discovery of further traces of cocaine, hashish and marijuana, as well as a large sum of money believed to be the proceeds of the illicit activity . A precision scale and two switchblades, tools commonly used for preparing doses, were also found.
