Quartu, a torchlight procession and fireworks for the last embrace with Asia
A procession will start from the church of Sant'Antonio and will arrive at the Pitz'e Serra park to pay homage to the sixteen-year-old who died after the accident at Is Pontis Paris

It will be a long torchlight procession, as intense as the affection that has always surrounded her, to say a final farewell to Asia Loddo , the 16-year-old girl who tragically passed away in recent days, after four days in a coma, following an accident that occurred in Is Ponti Paris.
Today, after the last farewell in the church of Sant'Antonio in Quartu, Asia's friends wanted to do something more. Something that spoke of her, of her light, of her laughter, of her unforgettable presence for them.
At 8 pm sharp it will start from the church of Sant'Antonio and will arrive at the park of Pitz'e Serra. Initially the departure was scheduled from via Brigata Sassari and the torchlight procession should have crossed the streets of the city until reaching the sea , at Marinella del Poetto. The change was decided a short while ago due to bad weather. Everyone will still carry a lit candle in their hand, a fragile symbol of life that burns quickly but leaves warmth. During the walk the moments lived with Asia will be remembered, a sort of collective diary under the stars . At the end the fireworks will be lit.
