The Carabinieri of the Pula station arrested two men, a 56-year-old and a 53-year-old, both originally from the town, during a road check along the state road 195. Stopped for checks, the two were found in possession of 100 grams of heroin .

The house searches led to the discovery of another 11 grams of the same substance and approximately €6,000 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.

The two arrested men will appear this morning before the Cagliari Court for a fast-track trial.
