He resisted the Carabinieri, refusing to hand over his purse for a routine check. Friday evening, around 8:30 p.m., in Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Pula, the Carabinieri of the local station arrested MA, a 30-year-old originally from Villa San Pietro, for resisting a public official.

The man was stopped for a check but, when asked to hand over his purse for a search, he resisted, causing injuries to the operating military. Later, a knife and 0.2 grams of cocaine were found inside the pouch.

In the morning, the arrested man will appear before the judge of the Court of Cagliari for the summary trial.
