Provincial elections in Ogliastra, Murru resists: "I'll make the list."

Giampietro Murru resists. With just one day left until the deadline for submitting lists for the provincial elections on September 29th, the mayor of Ilbono doesn't budge an inch and confirms his intention to form an alternative list to the one led by his Villagrande colleague, Alessio Seoni.

"I confirm that we are moving forward with our intention," he said yesterday morning. It's unclear who his allies are, and trying to pry a few names from him is a fruitless endeavor: "But," Murru warns, "it will be a list with many surprises." The disgruntled group of administrators, those who disliked the cross-party agreement for a unified list, is quite large, and Murru could draw from there to give form and substance to the project that would become a reality tomorrow at noon.
