A stone's throw from the pavilion and the Nervi bridge in Cagliari there is a stretch of sea invaded by plastic transported by marine currents. In the middle, there are also dead fish and some rats that take advantage of it to feed on them.

An unsightly spectacle, this, that has been repeated every year for a long time. A situation of degradation that turns up the noses of many who frequent the area to go for a walk on the Nervi bridge or, in general, along the Su Siccu seafront. Among them are numerous tourists. The dismay among the frequenters of the place is great, given that it is a stretch of sea that should be cleaned up by those in charge.

"It is impossible to see this mess, whoever has to do something, we are also talking about marine pollution", denounce some habitués of the place. For its part, the Port Authority maintains that it is up to the Navy to intervene. That point, in fact, also hosts the Naval League.
