New request for dismissal for the case of Silvana Gandola, the Piedmontese pensioner who disappeared on the Aglientu coast and died (the woman's poor remains were found on 30 January last year). The Tempio Prosecutor's Office, for the second time, concluded the investigations by excluding, at least with regard to the murder hypothesis, the involvement of other people.

Silvana Gandola (78 years old, with a hearing impairment and the onset of Alzheimer's) disappeared on 28 March 2021, while she was with her carer in the area of the Vignola tower (Aglientu coast). The remains of the old woman will be found by some hunters.

The murder investigation was opened on the orders of the Tempio investigating judge Marco Contu. The judge for preliminary investigations had accepted the requests of the pensioner's family.

The elderly woman's daughter, Laura Rizzi, had reported to the Prosecutor's Office, also through various consultations, the unclear steps in the reconstruction of her mother's disappearance and death. Inconsistencies have been reported, to give a few examples, on the presence of Silvana Gandola and her carer in Vignola on the morning of 28 March 2021, on some passages of the carer's declarations and on the presence of other subjects, whose role was not never clarified.

The pensioner's daughter, assisted by the lawyer Nicola Nettis, is acquiring the documents in the file and a new opposition to the dismissal is almost certain.
