Over 120 items , mainly toys but also a mask with snorkel, lacking the necessary CE marking and the required warnings in Italian, were seized by the men of the Customs and Monopoly Agency in a sales point in Alghero .

The products seized in various ways violate the regulations on the safety of articles intended for children and the required European legislation.

An administrative sanction has also been set, ranging from a minimum of 1,500 euros to a maximum of 10,000 for placing toys that do not comply with safety standards on the national territory and from a minimum of 3,000 euros to a maximum of 18,000 euros for the mask with mouthpiece, personal protective equipment.
