Work in progress in Oschiri to renovate the Diana Bridge which allows you to cross Lake Coghinas, on State Road 392.

«The interventions – explains Anas – have a total value of 8.2 million euros and consist of the deep rehabilitation and reinforcement of all parts of the structure, the restoration of the original shape of the piers, the reconstruction of the deck with modernization of the roadway and the edges of the bridge which will maintain their original shapes. Furthermore, the adaptation of the bridge involves the installation of shock-transmitters (particular anti-seismic devices that increase the resistance of the structure) and the consequent reinforcement of the viaduct shoulders through the installation of micropiles".

«The bridge – continues Anas – was closed as a precaution in June 2022, following technical inspections which had highlighted a worsening of the conservation and functionality conditions of the structure. The bridge itself was, however, already subjected to constant monitoring, due to the static critical issues that emerged in previous inspections".

Anas immediately took action to prepare an executive project, finding the economic resources to carry out the rehabilitation works. It had therefore appointed the company Ati Ser.lu Costruzioni Srl - Movistrade Cogefi Srl - Infrastrutture strada Scpa, via a Framework Agreement already available. The works started in December 2022.
