Three arrests in recent days for drug dealing, aggravated theft, and possession of offensive objects. This is the result of the activity of the Carabinieri of Ozieri, the Oschiri station, and the Sardinian Hunters Helicopter Squadron of Abbasanta. The Oschiri officers observed suspicious activity near Lake Coghinas and the Diana Bridge, and after monitoring the area, they discovered, just steps from the bridge renovation site, a cultivation of over 400 cannabis plants irrigated by a cascade system served by three separate water tanks, each holding 1,000 liters.

The Carabinieri of Ozieri and Oschiri, along with the Cacciatori, intervened at night, arresting three men who were spraying the plantation and seizing the "structure." They found plants between 80 and 170 cm tall, as well as several camera traps used to monitor the site, approximately 1,000 linear meters of piping, three tanks, several packages of fertilizers, insecticides, work equipment, and pesticide spraying equipment. Those arrested were also in possession of three folding knives.

Upon dismantling and destroying the plantation, law enforcement discovered that the water used to irrigate the plants was being stolen through an illegal connection . The three arrested are currently being held in Bancali prison.
