It took the Sartiglietta to see the seaside village of Torregrande invaded by tourists for several hours. After a summer that never took off, this evening the mini knights riding the giarini attracted many spectators.
Lots of applause and record attendance for the mini equestrian joust organized by the Pro Loco of Oristano chaired by Gianni Ledda, marked as always by the roll of drums and the blare of trumpets. Nine stars in all. And for the first time, the knights who managed to nail the target were rewarded by their parents. For some, it was the mother, for others the father, between tears and emotions.

The party as always began with the dressing of su componidoreddu. The chosen one this year was Alessandro Meloni, 17 years old, from Berchidda. Two very small girls in Sardinian costume transformed the mini knight. Then the public moved to the dance floor near the pine forest.

The first star goes to Camilla Daga. Then applause for Francesca Dessì. But Francesco Tamburello, Laura Firinu, Nicolò Pisu, Manuel Pinna and Gabriele Piras also manage to hit the mark. Roberto Appeddu succeeds with su stoccu, Giulia Atzei with segundu and third. Su componidoreddu, who failed to hit the target, makes up for it with sa remada: spectacular. Lying on his horse and with his small scepter of violets in his hand, he greeted the crowd of Torregrande, enchanting those who witnessed this ritual for the first time.
At the end of the evening the pairs took to the stage. Without any fear the mini knights performed spectacular evolutions.
