Oristano: Bomb scare at Gremio headquarters

A bomb threat was reported last night in Oristano, outside the Carpenters' Guild headquarters on Via Eleonora. A white box containing a tile was found outside the door, bearing a rather ambiguous message in Sardinian, bordering on a warning.

The police intervened on the scene and sealed off the entire street a few meters from Piazza Eleonora.

A bomb squad arrived from Cagliari and performed checks. The specialists opened the box: no bomb, but various objects and waste were inside. Investigations are continuing to shed full light on the incident.
