Two episodes of mistreatment and stalking in Sulcis.

The Carabinieri of the Carbonia Station have executed an order for the application of the precautionary measure of the prohibition of approaching the places usually frequented by the injured party, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Cagliari against a 45-year-old worker living in Carbonia. The former cohabiting partner, a 43-year-old local woman, reported it, having turned to the military to put an end to a situation of profound discomfort and fear. The woman had in fact reported that , starting from March 2024, she had been the victim of repeated episodes of mistreatment, insults, threats and physical aggression, such as to generate a continuous state of anxiety and fear for her safety.

The Carabinieri investigations have allowed them to gather serious evidence against the suspect, also confirmed by the victim's testimony. The precautionary measure imposes an absolute ban on the man from approaching the woman, her home and the places she frequents.

In Sant'Antioco, a 53-year-old worker living in the town ended up under house arrest, accused of stalking. The victim in this case was a 39-year-old, the new partner of his ex, who had reported obsessive and threatening behavior by the suspect, including stalking him at his workplace.

The Carabinieri "once again renews its invitation to all those who find themselves victims of threats, violence or stalking, not to hesitate to contact the Carabinieri offices present in the area, where qualified personnel are ready to offer a listening ear, protection and assistance, activating every instrument provided by law for the protection of the safety and dignity of people".
