The intervention of the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps for the recovery of a hiker on Monte Corrasi in the Oliena area ended around 7:15 pm.

She was traveling with three other companions S'Iscala and Marras, when due to an ankle injury she was no longer able to continue independently. Rescue operations were immediately activated, which sent the Alghero-based helicopter rescue to the site. After an initial overflight, however, he was forced to cancel the mission due to weather conditions.

The 118 operations centre thus requested the intervention of the Alpine and Speleological Rescue teams of Sardinia .

On Monte Corrasi, 10 technicians from the stations of Nuoro and Ogliastra intervened immediately, together with a team of Alpine rescuers from the Guardia di Finanza.

The hiker was stabilized and transported to the meeting point with the ambulance of the Olianese rescue association to be accompanied to the hospital . Four firefighters were present during the interventions.
