Olbia, Nizzi: «False social media profiles in my name, I'm reporting them to the authorities and to Meta»

Olbia Mayor Reports Identity Theft, Reported on Social Media by Settimo Nizzi: "In light of recent identity theft attempts and the creation of fake profiles in my name, I feel it is my duty to clarify that the Mayor of Olbia's only official Facebook page is the one I am writing from, and it is associated exclusively with the Instagram profile @𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥."

Inviting citizens to pay the utmost attention and to refer only to these official channels, the mayor writes: «We are taking steps to report to the competent authorities and to Meta assistance all unauthorised profiles that improperly use my name and image, also in light of the fraud attempts and deceptive activities attributable to them».
