Rossella Marongiu, the twenty-five-year-old from Serramanna who was involved in an accident yesterday morning on Provincial Road 56, between Samassi and Serrenti, died at the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari where she worked as a nurse.

He was driving his black Lancia Y when he lost control: the car ended up off the road, overturning several times, and then ending up in the middle of an artichoke field, 30 metres from the roadway.

The girl's conditions immediately appeared desperate to the rescuers, who rushed her to Brotzu: after an initial CT scan, which revealed very serious head injuries, Rossella Marongiu was admitted to intensive care. The doctors did everything they could to try to save her life, but unfortunately every attempt proved useless.

The brain death of the 25-year-old girl was declared in the afternoon, for the start of all the procedures required by law.
