The trial for the death of Gianfranco Pia, a worker from Samatzai who fell from a scaffolding in Nuxis on the evening of 12 June 2009 and died in hospital in Cagliari on 22 September of the same year, ends with four convictions after almost nine years of hearings. after three months of agony.

The sentence was issued by the judge of the Court of Cagliari, Simone Nespoli.

Gianfranco Pia was an employee of the Cabua di Giuseppe Cabua & C company, engaged in the construction of a building in Nuxis on behalf of Tsi srl. During the drafting of a tarred sheath on the roof - according to the reconstruction of the prosecutor's office - he allegedly fell from over 5 meters , sustaining serious injuries and being rushed to hospital.
