Nine migrants land in Villasimius, tracked down by the police

Disembarkation of non-EU citizens on the Villasimius coast. Nine in total. They are adults and are quite well. The disembarkation took place in Cala Burroni where the new arrivals abandoned the dinghy which was then recovered from the protected marine area of Villasimius.

The migrants were subsequently stopped by the station police and accompanied to the Monastir reception centre.

No landings have been recorded on the south-eastern coast for some years.
