An 89-year-old man from Oristano could be the second victim of Nile Fever in Sardinia .

The ASL denies that it was the West Nile that caused the death: the man, hospitalized this summer at the San Martino hospital for neurological problems caused by Nile Fever had been discharged. He suffered from previous pathologies.

But his condition never improved, so his family members decided to transfer him to an RSA, where he died .

In September there was the first victim of Nile Fever , a woman from Marrubiu who died in hospital in Cagliari. According to the ISS bulletin updated to October 12, the cases ascertained on the island are seven: one in Cagliari, six in Oristano .
