A lineup of music big names to celebrate the last night of the year, which according to estimates by the Region will see at least 100 thousand spectators across the island.

Many people have decided to spend New Year's Eve and New Year's Day in Sardinia, but in many cases it is just a quick visit. Airport numbers say that arrivals are increasing in this last part of the year, but in the cauldron of passenger traffic there are many returning emigrants and few tourists, who will stay on the island for a short time. One or two nights at most, those who go as far as the third are already an exception.

So what will a typical vacation be like in these days between 2024 and 2025? The hard core will be represented by domestic tourism: Sardinians who travel from north to south and vice versa to follow the singers who will perform in the cities. Overnight stays in nearby towns, then lunch in a restaurant or farmhouse and in the evening the return home. Some will extend the mini vacation up to three days. But the “entrance tax” is, as always, the weight, that is, the cost of flights to reach the island from the main Italian cities.
