Monserrato, accident between car and motorbike: a seventeen-year-old seriously injured

Serious accident late this morning, around 1.30 pm, in via Cesare Cabras in Monserrato.
According to initial information, the crash occurred a short distance from the police station: it involved a car and a dirt bike on which a 17-year-old boy was travelling. The car had stopped to give way to a bus and the motorcyclist crashed into it, flying a few metres. In the impact he broke the windshield with his helmet, suffering a concussion and fracturing his arm.
The boy was rushed to Brotzu by an ambulance, code red. But according to initial findings, his life is not in danger.
The military personnel intervened on site to carry out the investigations. Traffic remained blocked in both directions and the inconveniences are affecting all the roads in the area.
