"The first collapse occurred in 2011, then in 2021, and then in 2025. In 2011, the debris fell on my wife's car, causing thousands of euros in damage . Each time the area is cordoned off, and the road is closed, but then we're always back to square one," Salvatore Argiolas vents.
The road was also closed and firefighters were called in to clear the debris. Also causing concern is a tree in the courtyard of the old house, whose roots and branches are contributing to the deterioration of the wall.
“I live right across the street, I can’t even go out into the garden because I’m afraid the tree and the house will fall on me,” Giovanna Trudu vents , “luckily the house has two entrances, and I can enter from the other side, but we can’t continue like this.”
Now it's necessary to track down the owners and find a solution as quickly as possible. "I've already filed a report requesting the Civil Protection Department's intervention," Argiolas continues.
