"The precise location of the artifacts has not been obtained." Translation: the two missiles—a Stinger and an Aster 30—fired during the Joint Stars exercise last May that sank into the sea off the Quirra firing range are still missing.

Confirmation comes from the Ministry of Defense, after two unsuccessful search operations. A third is planned for the coming weeks, but in the meantime, ordinances restricting navigation in the affected and potentially at-risk stretch of sea between Ogliastra and Sarrabus remain in effect.
