Everything is ready for the first island event of the Miss Universe pageant, the pageant born in the United States in the 1950s that continues to inspire millions of girls around the world. The first stage of the Miss Universe pageant will be held on July 22nd, starting at 9:00 PM, at Sa Mariga Exclusive Event in Assemini. Admission to the show is free, but reservations are required. Anthony Peth, a well-known figure on national television networks, will host the evening; Anna Chessa, Miss Sardinia 2026, will be the host . Katia Malika, an oriental dance teacher, will also be present, and together with Davide Franceschi, she will contribute an exotic atmosphere to the opening of the pageant, which will take place in various locations across Sardinia. As always, many girls have applied to participate in the selections, which will be held in every region of Italy, but only one will be able to represent our national team at the world final.

Following the success of last year's edition, Miss Universe is once again organized by Alessia Ghisoni, an entrepreneur and owner of several brands operating in the fashion and events worlds, and recently named by the national press as the queen of the major events that brought Miss World and Miss Universe to Sardinia. Beauty is at the forefront, but not only that. The pageant has evolved since its inception in 1952, and in addition to the girls' beauty, it also evaluates their personality, style, poise, and all aspects of elegance. A show, therefore, in step with the times, which has managed to renew itself and has combined the celebration of beauty with the study of multimedia content, designed and structured to highlight a new and fresh image of the pageant, also thanks to the collaboration with major national partners.

Miss Universe organizer Alessia Ghisoni explains how one of the pageant's key features is its commitment to staying current while maintaining the allure of the first editions: "Our goal is to enhance and promote female excellence in all its facets: it's not just the physical appearance of those who walk the catwalk that's taken into consideration, but also their character and the values they can express, even in just a few moments. Through Miss Universe, we also want to showcase our region, its artists, and its stylists, who will bring Sardinia's tangible and intangible heritage to the catwalk, reflecting the full significance of our age-old traditions." For Cenzo Atzori, owner of Sa Mariga Exclusive Event, inaugurating the new edition of the pageant will be a great opportunity: "We're ready to create an evening of style, charm, and elegance. The event will take place in a magical atmosphere, which—combined with the beauty of the aspiring Misses—will make it an unforgettable evening."
