The emergency medical transport of a 68-year-old man, in imminent danger of death, who was hospitalized at the Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari and required urgent transfer to the University Hospital of Padua, ended last night with the landing in Venice.

The flight, as required by procedures for this type of activity, was authorized by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, which manages and coordinates the activities of the state aircraft fleet. The activation occurred at the request of the Prefecture of Cagliari to the Situation Room of the Air Force's Milan Air Squadron Command, which immediately involved the 31st Wing at Ciampino, one of the units that provides operational readiness for this type of mission.

After the military crew completed all necessary procedures, the G650 took off from Ciampino Airport for Cagliari, where the man was immediately boarded along with a medical team. After landing at Venice Airport shortly after 3:30 a.m., an ambulance transported him to the hospital for treatment.
