Road accident in the New Eastern Sardinia, in the territory of San Vito. Three cars were involved in a maxi-collision with three people injured, one of whom was taken to hospital.

The accident occurred near the Sarrabus Caffè service area: involved a Renault Modus driven by a 30 year old from Villaputzu, a Renault Clio with a 48 year old from Lanusei at the wheel and a Fiat Bravo driven by a 52 year old from Gairo.

On the spot, an ambulance from 118 intervened to manage road traffic and for legal reliefs.

The 30-year-old from Villaputzu ended up in the hospital at San Marcellino di Muravera and suffered several injuries.

Fortunately, it is not in danger of life.

Several wreckers and Anas personnel were also involved in cleaning the carriageway and restoring safety conditions.
