Maracalagonis, stabbings during a fight: a man in serious condition, his partner arrested

At the height of an argument for reasons yet to be clarified, he allegedly struck his partner with a cutting weapon, causing several wounds to various parts of his body.
For this reason, a 55-year-old woman was stopped by the Carabinieri and could be charged with attempted murder.
The attack took place at dawn in Maracalagonis , when the Carabinieri of the local station and the Radiomobile unit of the Quartu Sant'Elena company intervened urgently following the report of some residents, who heard the victim, a 62-year-old, in the street, bloodied and in obvious distress, while he was asking for help.
The military, arriving on the scene, provided first aid and began investigations to reconstruct what happened. As mentioned, the initial investigations allowed them to identify the man's current partner, who was still in the house, as the alleged perpetrator of the stabbing.
After the intervention of 118, the man was then urgently transported to the hospital, to Brotzu in Cagliari, where he is still hospitalized in serious conditions and undergoing life-saving surgery.
The woman was instead placed in custody pending further investigation and the determinations of the Judicial Authority.
The military is continuing its investigations to precisely outline the dynamics of the facts and the motive for the attack.
