In Mandas, municipal taxes are not increasing. The City Council, after the passage in the Executive and the agreement on the numbers found in the majority group, approved the financial budget scheme for 2025 which provides for the confirmation also for the next year of the structure of the Imu, Tari and Irpef tariffs in force in 2024.
Good news for citizens who feared an upward update of municipal taxes due to higher costs due to inflation. For residents, the attitude shown by the city administration is certainly reassuring, which - not without sacrifices - in a period of great economic difficulty also due to the employment crisis, has managed to keep taxes unchanged for several years now.
Among the municipal services, the most expensive for the public budget is the one for the separate waste collection, financed precisely with the payment of the Tari.
"In the next few days we will present an official protest document to the Region because we do not believe it is understandable that, despite a very high percentage of separate waste collection, the costs of waste disposal continue to rise", announces Mayor Umberto Oppus.
