The interrogations of the 31 people arrested by the ROS carabinieri continue as part of the investigation by the Cagliari DDA into an alleged mafia association active in Sardinia with links between crime and white collar workers.

But no one speaks . A strategy, that of not answering, shared by the lawyers of all the suspects, who want to take the time to read the 407 pages of the order .

In recent days the investigating judge Michele Contini, with the prosecutors Emanuele Secci and Rossana Allieri , is listening to the 18 people who have ended up under house arrest, alleged supporters of Graziano Mesina who, according to the investigators, would have covered up the absconding of the former Scarlet Pimpernel.

Today Riccardo Mercuriu (defended by the lawyer Francesco Lai), Serafino Monni (lawyers Davide Muledda and Gian Luigi Mastio), Antonio Michele Pinna and Marco Zanardi (assisted by Marina Zuncheddu and Fabrizio Pintus) appeared before the investigating judge and prosecutor.

Everyone was silent, as were the other people questioned . The only ones to speak, with spontaneous statements and always making use of the right not to respond, were the former councilor Gabriella Murgia and Giuseppe Paolo Frongia . Both denied the charges. Frongia denied knowing Mesina, but according to those investigating he played a leading role in Grazianeddu's movements from house to house during his fugitive time.

The warrant interviews will end on Monday, when it will be the turn of Paolo Sale , the 44-year-old from Orgosolo who initially evaded capture and then handed himself over to the carabinieri two days later.

The lawyers of all those arrested have until Saturday to present a request for release or mitigation of the precautionary measure to the Court of Review of Cagliari.

Meanwhile, the investigations continue: the investigators are also looking at the leaks that allegedly favored the suspects, behind which there is the shadow of the secret services .
