He was found in possession of tens of grams of cocaine, marijuana and hashish, hidden in his home. The man, 59-year-old NS, municipal employee, was arrested by the carabinieri in Macomer, after a search of his home, his car and workplace.
This morning, after a night in a cell, he was tried in Oristano, where the judges sentenced him to one year and three months in prison and to pay a sum of around 2,600 euros. However, the sentence was suspended.
The carabinieri had been on the man's trail for some time now. Yesterday afternoon the operation was triggered which involved several soldiers, who rummaged everywhere in the workplaces where the municipal employee works. Operations that are frequent in Marghine and Macomer, with the discovery of plantations of marijuana and other narcotic substances.
