Despite the rain, yesterday evening an immense crowd invaded the historic center to take part in one of the most awaited events of autumn in Sardinia, the XXIV review of S'Antunna , the first regional mycological review (organized by the Pro Loco and the Esedra Cooperative ) and the ninth edition of the Su Piritzolu festival , organized by the Binzatteris cultural association.
Saturday evening was characterized above all by this event, which attracted people from different parts of the island, who crowded the cellars set up along the evocative streets of the historic center (Sas Sette Carrelas), with aromas and flavors that once again characterized time this event. Not only wine, but also tasting of local products and traditional cuisine of Macomer .
Immediately after the opening of the cellars (which coincided with the rain), the crowd traveled the entire route between the small church of Santa Croce and Casa Attene (where the mycological exhibition was set up), again with tastings and dishes prepared by great Sardinian chefs, Sas Sette Carrelas has become an area full of perfumes and improvised toasts, with various qualities of Piritzolu, according to the peasant tradition of Macomer. Typical dishes, good wine and even lots of music, with excursions that will continue today, linked to the Mycological Review.
