He lost control of his Fiat Panda along provincial road 56, at the western exit of Lotzorai towards Talana. A 62-year-old man from Urzulei was injured in an accident that occurred this afternoon.

The small car overturned, ending up in a ditch. The man, a forestry worker, was rescued by a Le Grazie crew who, after providing him with initial treatment, entrusted him to the medical personnel on duty on the Areus Echo Lima 1 helicopter which arrived from the Olbia base.

The driver suffered a head injury and was transported to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro. The Tortolì firefighters and the Carabinieri of the Lanusei company were on site.
