Mrs. Ilma Mereu, 91 lively springs, received a tribute from some fellow citizens for her commitment to caring for greenery. But her passion for greenery pushed her to buy a small abandoned vegetable garden in the historic center and refurbish it . He cleaned it, weeded it and made it a jewel. She did it all alone, at 91 years old. Thus, some of her fellow citizens, many of whom were her former students - Mrs. Ilma was a teacher - decided to reward her to thank her for her commitment.
They organized themselves via Whatsapp and in a hurry they purchased a tree and a plaque - made by Gianleonardo Viglino - which was delivered yesterday in great secrecy.
