Certificates of bipartisan solidarity for Davide Burchi, mayor of Lanusei, victim in recent hours of intimidation with writings written on a wall on the outskirts of the town . Burchi, 46, a member of the Democratic Party, of whose secretariat he was also leader in the past, has received numerous certificates of esteem and closeness. The intervention of the outgoing president of the Region, Christian Solinas , was followed by that of Alessandra Todde, president in pectore, on X : «I strongly condemn the intimidating act aimed at the mayor of Lanusei, Davide Burchi. It is a cowardly and cowardly attack. These gestures are not tolerable. Davide, full solidarity and closeness. Continue your work with your head held high."

The Federation of the Ogliastra PD also expressed solidarity: « We are concerned and strongly condemn the escalation of intimidation which in recent days has affected the candidates of the Psd'Az, Nadir Congiu and Debora Asoni, the State Police and, last night , the mayor of Lanusei, Davide Burchi. The hands of the cowards who hide as darkness falls to commit crimes and intimidate administrators and law enforcement - said the secretary, Ivan Puddu - must be brought to justice as soon as possible. We ask for firmness and speed in investigations. We condemn this spiral of violence and strongly ask that honest citizens, the entire Ogliastra community join our administrators and the police to isolate these individuals, who have little to do with the culture of dialogue and respect towards the institutions. Those writings are signed by a cowardly and criminal subculture, which together we must help erase."

The Ogliastra Federation of the Sardinian Action Party also took a position together with the Lanusei section: «We express solidarity and closeness to the mayor of Lanusei following the threatening writings that appeared on a wall in the town. The Party totally condemns these ignoble gestures and rallies around the mayor and the municipal council of Lanusei."

Salvatore Corrias , Dem regional councilor: «The threats to the mayor of Lanusei, Davide Burchi, as already happened to Nadir Congiu and Debora Asoni, cannot, neither today, nor then nor ever, undermine the great civilization of the community of Lanusei and of the All of Ogliastra. The cowardice of a few cannot undermine the work of those who dedicate themselves to the community . I express my closeness to Davide." Even Brothers of Italy, through the mouth of the provincial president Nicola Salis , called for a common front: «All my solidarity and that of the Brothers of Italy goes to Davide Burchi. I appeal to all my colleagues and all my fellow local administrators: let's remain united. Our mutual solidarity is our strength . In civil society there is the energy and awareness to be able to form a common front. No one should feel alone in the face of criminal intimidation." The Lanusei council opposition group also stands in solidarity with Burchi: «We reject these acts and show solidarity with the mayor», said Marco Melis.

Many mayors attended. Starting with Marcello Ladu, head of the council majority of Tortolì , the center where Burchi lives with his family. « We cannot be the lightning rod for citizens' inconveniences . On behalf of the entire community of Tortolì I express solidarity with the mayor of Lanusei who was the victim of a vile gesture." Ivan Mameli, mayor of Bari Sardo , president of the Union of Municipalities of Ogliastra and exponent of the Reformers also expressed this closeness: «Solidarity with Davide Burchi and unconditional condemnation of every form of violence. Unfortunately - he stated - this is not the only episode against a representative of the institutions ." Angelo Stochino, mayor of Arzana , was also saddened: «Great regret that takes us back in time and does not represent the current Ogliastra », he said, also sympathizing with Nadir Congiu and Debora Asoni, recipients of death threats in the days preceding regional elections.

Solidarity also from Alessandro Mulas of the In Teatro di Lanusei association which manages the Tonio Dei in the town. And again: «The Save the Saveable group clearly dissociates itself from what happened to Mayor Burchi».

The first to show solidarity with the mayor who was the victim of intimidation was the Bar Association, chaired by Vito Cofano, of which Burchi himself is a member. The Criminal Chamber of Lanusei also took a position and «shows lively solidarity and affectionate and sincere closeness to the mayor, colleague, friend and precious member Davide Burchi for the cowardly and ignoble gesture of which he was the victim today. We firmly condemn this vile action, the last in a temporal sense of many others, which especially recently have been repeated against individuals representing institutions in various capacities . We reiterate our commitment - declared the president, Fabrizio Demurtas - to the defense of the rights and values of democracy and civil coexistence, offended by this gesture which we have no difficulty in defining criminal, values which we will continue to defend with all our strength, stubbornness and commitment that has always been shown. We are certain that the lawyer Davide Burchi will not be intimidated or discouraged but will continue without hesitation to carry out his task to protect the Lanuse area community with the courage, competence, commitment and respect shown for the institutions".
