He was driving his Fiat Doblò along Viale Italia when he crashed into a lamppost. A man from Ilbono was injured in an accident that occurred late this morning in Lanusei.

According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, the driver of the vehicle skidded at the roundabout in front of the Bando di Sardegna branch and a little further on, with the Doblò now out of control, the impact with the light point occurred.

He was rescued by ambulance personnel and transported to the emergency room of the city hospital. Here the doctors subjected him to various tests. The Lanusei firefighters and local police officers operated on site.
